This week’s prompt – one word: Wednesday Here is my entry:

“Wednesday, what’s with Wednesday,” she muttered under her breath as she picked through the pile of lists on her desk.
“I know there was something. Surely I wrote it down.” She glanced at and tossed several more scraps of paper. So many reminders of things to do. Go to the bank, buy groceries, fix the doorbell. Doorbell? That was last year! How old were some of these?
Old. The word bit into her. No she was not old, she just… forgot.
A lot.
That’s why she had to write things down.
write… write….. oh! The 100 word challenge… Wednesday.

Clever! I have a desk and a memory like her. Desk has a diary and a to do list both of which are covered with dozens of post-it notes with extra to-dos on.
You should see my desk – I keep running lists in several places, and I don’t even notice the postits most of the time, but continue to use them. Thanks for commenting.
This was done with understanding , memory loss must be such a burden. A super take on the prompt. Love how it all tied in.

Memory is a wonderful thing to have and terrible to lose. You get across the onset of confusion really well with this. Cute ending too!
